Sivantos Japan donated Hearing aids and batteries

Refugee centers and camps lack the funds and the equipment to deal with hearing impairment, so it is up to private donors to step up. Every contribution counts. Sivantos Japan keeps up their tradition and just sponsored hearing aids to the UNCHR representation in Azerbaijan, again.

In total, ten hearing aids and 120 batteries were sponsored through the Fuji Vision Aid Mission. The hearing aids, together valued at around US $4,700, will be delivered to refugees, internally displaced persons and other vulnerable people, along with free of charge services.

Access to hearing aids can be life-changing for a refugee, it can mean a new start in a healthy life, the ability to follow education and even to start a job. We are confident that Sivantos Japan’s tradition of donating hearing aids to the UNHCR will make a difference to more and more hearing-impaired people in need.
